Hi everyone. Normally I try and get The Crown Informer out on Saturdays (whenever I manage to write one up!), but have had to postpone the last two newsletters until Sundays. Everything should go back to normal after this week, with a hopefully weekly schedule following this one. I have some big updates for today’s Crown Informer, which will be found at the end of today’s newsletter. Going forward, I’ll be putting the Weekly Words (stuff I did over the last week or so) first while the Announcements can be found at the end of the newsletter.
So, without any further procrastination, though, let’s get started!
WEEKLY WORDS
Moon Husband Release!
My free short story, Moon Husband, was released on March 31st. For those who may have received it as an email, the story was unfortunately too big to come through in email form. However, you can still read the full story for free below:
If you enjoy romance and horror, please consider checking it out!
MOON HUSBAND | Back of the Moon
At the beginning of this month, I released a promotional for Moon Husband in the form of a short film. I did not expect it to become the highest-viewed video on my YouTube channel so quickly. Thank you, everyone, for the huge amount of support for it! If you haven’t seen the video yet, please consider doing so!
Frayed Branches
Since the last Crown Informer, there have been plenty of Frayed Branches essays analyzing different media, with an emphasis on TV series. In particular, I’ve been focused on analyzing Warrior Nun, a cancelled Netflix series that deserves to be revived for its brilliant characters and storytelling. Every essay has received incredible support from the show’s fandom. I feel unbelievably lucky to be able to contribute to the fight with these essays and I’m so grateful to have been introduced to such a great series. Thank you to all fellow Warrior Nun fans who continue to support my writings about the show.
There are many more entries in Frayed Branches’ Warrior Nun essay series planned. For the foreseeable future, Thursdays will be reserved for Warrior Nun essays. I had to take some time to plan out when I wanted to write essays about who/what, but now everything has fallen into place. So, for the next month or two, there will be a new Warrior Nun essay every week.
Tuesdays will continue to be reserved for other pieces of media. I have a fun one planned for this Tuesday, but may have to push it back depending on how large it gets as I start writing it. We’ll see. But in the meantime, my most recent non-Warrior Nun essays included a theory about Yellowjackets season 2 prior to its release and an analysis of “superhero fatigue.”
You can read my latest four Frayed Branches essays by clicking the titles below:

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Today, I’m happy to announce two big upcoming projects that will be coming to fruition in the next few months. These stories will be exciting new serializations that will expand the mediums of storytelling in worlds that I’ve been creating. I’m incredibly excited to now share the names and release windows of these projects with you.
PROJECT #1 - THE LUNARIS FULCRUM
The Lunaris Fulcrum is a series of found footage and documentary-style videos in the world of Moon Husband. Every new episode will reveal more of the mystery surrounding RubiTech’s connection to the Moon while telling a new story set in the late 2020’s. Some videos will also be accompanied by internal RubiTech documents and other “primary resources” that expand on each episode’s events. In addition, “MOON HUSBAND | Prologue” and “MOON HUSBAND | Back of the Moon” will have their titles edited to indicate that they are precursors to The Lunaris Fulcrum’s official beginning.
A new episode of The Lunaris Fulcrum will be released on the second Monday of every month. The first official episode will be uploaded to YouTube on May 8th. To subscribe to my YouTube channel for The Lunaris Fulcrum, click here.
I’m excited to continue exploring the world of Moon Husband and RubiTech through this experimental YouTube series!
PROJECT #2 - VANISH
June 5th, 2023: The Day the Sky Caught Fire
Alex Wright awakens to a crashing sound and the smell of smoke. The 14-year-old peeks out his bedroom window, discovering an explosion has disrupted the quiet of his small Massachusetts town. His little brother, Miles, is afraid, but not just because of the ever-spreading fire. Airplanes are dipping low in the sky. More blasts are erupting in the distance. Their parents are nowhere to be found.
It doesn’t take long for Alex to realize an unexplainable event has befallen the world. Everyone under the age of 5 and over the age of 16 has disappeared, leaving only their clothing behind. Panic rocks the town as alliances are formed, tyrants take power, and children young and old are forced to adapt to a world that grows more unforgiving with each passing day.
Then: A fireball. A helicopter wreckage. An injured stranger who speaks of a secret bunker in Washington, D.C. that could sustain hundreds of people for decades. Most in Alex’s community think it’s a pipe dream. But if it means keeping his little brother safe and alive, Alex is willing to risk everything.
A group of 14 survivors, including Alex, leave the comfort of their community. All are willing to bet their lives on the words of a dying man who fell from the sky. Will they find sanctuary in the unknown of the capital? Or will the horrors of the world beyond their town destroy their dream of a better life?
Vanish is a young adult, post-apocalyptic horror story chronicling a group of survivors journeying to Washington D.C. after everyone under the age of 5 and over the age of 16 disappears. The story focuses on 14-year-old Alex Wright and his 9-year-old brother Miles, while also featuring an ensemble cast of characters throughout. Vanish will be an online, serialized story, which will be available primarily on Wattpad. However, Vanish will be posted to other sites in the future as well (information will arrive at a later date).
Vanish will begin on June 5th, 2023, with new chapters posted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You can follow me on Wattpad here, where you’ll be the first to know when the first chapter arrives.
Please note that, due to the massive nature of this project, there may be a few growing pains at the start (Ex: There may 1-2 chapters per week instead of 3 during the first month or two). This will be ironed out as the series continues.
I’m very excited to share this project with you all. I have previously teased Vanish as “School Arc,” which is the name of the first Arc of the series. School Arc centered around the beginning days of the apocalypse and the introduction of many characters who will become vital to the journey ahead. While this story is aimed at young adults, readers of older demographics are also welcome to dive in.
