Testing testing 1 2 3. That’s not how keyboards work, but you may have imagined me tapping a microphone. That’s because there’s plenty to say in this week’s rendition of The Crown Informer.
Because I missed last week. And the week before. But I was very busy, and you will see why in a moment. So, without further procrastination, let’s get started. But before we get to announcements, I once again want to thank:
#SaveWarriorNun
I would like to extend my deepest thanks to the Warrior Nun fandom for introducing me to an incredibly special Netflix series, and for supporting all of the writing I have been doing about the show over the last month. Words cannot adequately express my thanks. Nor can I even begin to write how grateful I am to creator Simon Barry for reading and sharing my latest essay on the series. You and the creative team behind Warrior Nun have made something incredibly fun, unique, and layered, which deserves to continue through all of the story you have planned.
More Warrior Nun essays are on their way in the future. Thank you all for everything.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
2022 Part I: A Poetry Collection
My newest poetry collection, 2022 Part I, is now available on Amazon! The book can be found in hardcover, paperback, and Kindle eBook formats. Please note that Kindle eBook may look a little wonky, but I can assure you that everything is there. You can purchase the copy of your choice by clicking the words below:
Every sale helps me continue to write not just books, but everything else that I do as well.
If you’d like to try before you buy, I’ve released 12 poems across the collection for free on Frayed Branches:
Thank you!
Wattpad
Very soon, I will begin posting a free serialized story (web novel, I suppose) on Wattpad. As such, I now have a Wattpad account where you can follow me and where you will be directly notified when the story begins.
This story is the project I previously titled “School Arc” in prior Crown Informer entries. However, if you’re a keen mobile Wattpad user, you may just be able to find the title on my author page…
The first chapter of this new story will be released in early/mid Spring 2023.
If you’d like to follow me on Wattpad, you can do so here.
Book Sales
My first three books—These Stone Walls, The Tree Dream, and Echo Paradise—are still on sale in paperback format. If you’re interested in supernatural and paranormal stories about loss, love, and the will to soldier on, you can purchase paperback versions of each book below while the sale lasts:
These Stone Walls - $4.15
The Tree Dream - $3.60
Echo Paradise - $3.98
WEEKLY WORDS
NIGHTALIGHT
My newest short film, NIGHTALIGHT, is now on YouTube. The film is based on a poem of the same name from 2022 Part I, and follows a character having an unexplainable nightmare. The movie seeks to use nonsense as a way to tell a story that hasn’t happened just yet. It’s more like the foundation on a house than it is the walls. But, if you would like to watch it anyway, it is above for your enjoyment.
Frayed Branches
There have been three Frayed Branches essay since the last Crown Informer, two of which analyzed different attributes of Warrior Nun. To show support for the series and efforts by fellow fans to renew the show, I will be dedicating at least the next three Thursday Frayed Branches essays to analyzing different attributes of Warrior Nun. Echoing myself from above, the show is something special that deserves to have the rest of its story told.
Alongside Warrior Nun essays, though, I will still be posting essays on various other forms of media on Tuesdays. The other essay I wrote since the last Crown Informer analyzed the importance of Kane Pixels’ Backrooms YouTube series going into production as a feature film, and what this could mean for Internet horror on the big screen in the future.
